This is a 2-page magazine spread infographic on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a genetic disorder responsible for the most frequent cause of sudden death in the younger population.

Research & Tissue Study
Following the research phase, a large inspiration board was created from both anatomical references and other infographics to help figure out a style and layout for this piece. I also created a tissue cube study of the pathologic heart
to help me understand the texture and structure of the disease. Several layouts and color combinations were tried, but I decided to stick with a top-left to bottom-right diagonal progression after consulting with Dr. Wong and peers.
