This was an infographic on the gut microbiome and it's associated diseases. Presented in the 2020 Fall IMS Magazine, it was intended to be a fun and visually appealing infographic to help readers understand more about the gut microbiome. Research and information was compiled by Stacey Butler and all visuals were created by me.

Rough Layout & 3D Assets
A rough black and white layout was blocked out in illustrator first along with a quick sketch of the character I was planning to model. Models were created in Blender 3D.

Layout Revision
Several minor iterations of the layout were compiled after revisions from the magazine editors to finalize the final infographic.

I decided to create a small animation with the model to have some fun at the end of the project. After some simple rigging (watch the fingers), this was the final result!
